  • Get an in-person or video survey

    Estimates given over the phone without seeing your belongings are often low and grow on moving day.

  • Ask for a binding estimate

    A binding or binding-not-to-exceed estimate caps what you pay. With a non-binding estimate the mover can collect up to 110% of it at delivery and bill the rest later.

  • Avoid large deposits

    Reputable movers rarely ask for a big payment before they load your goods.
